Fractional Leadership & Embedded Delivery
Senior transformation leadership is a specialist discipline. Most organisations bring it in at the point it is needed: and scale it back when the programme is self-sustaining. Enzyme's fractional model is designed for exactly that window.
The Challenge It Solves
Fractional leadership is the practical alternative to both external consulting and premature full-time hiring. External consultants produce reports and recommendations: then leave. Full-time C-suite hires for sustainability or transformation are expensive, hard to recruit, and often premature.
Enzyme's embedded C-suite roles work inside the organisation, not from outside it. We attend your meetings, know your team, manage suppliers, represent your interests with stakeholders, and carry the transformation programme from within: without requiring a permanent hire before the role is justified.
External Consulting → Reports and recommendations. The consultant leaves when the engagement ends.
Embedded Delivery → Transformation from within. We stay inside until the organisation is self-sufficient.
Who It's For
- -Hotel operators and owners who need senior transformation leadership but aren't ready for a full-time hire
- -Properties in transition: new ownership, rebranding, or repositioning
- -Hotels launching new sustainability, wellness, or technology programmes requiring specialist expertise
- -Development companies that need embedded transformation leadership across multiple properties
What Enzyme Does
1.Fractional CSO (Chief Sustainability Officer)
Embedded 2–4 days per month. Drives the sustainability programme, manages external reporting (CSRD, ESRS, GRI), oversees certification renewals, and builds internal capability.
2.Fractional VP of Transformation
Driving cross-functional change programmes: coordinating across F&B, housekeeping, facilities, guest experience, and technology to ensure transformation is embedded operationally.
3.Fractional Director of Procurement
Built on the function Andrew created at Accor across Southeast Asia: spend architecture, supplier qualification, circular contracting and community-benefit measurement — procurement as a regenerative lever, run from inside.
4.Team Mentoring & Capability Building
Transferring knowledge so the organisation becomes self-sufficient. The goal of fractional leadership is to work itself out of a job: building internal expertise and resilience.
5.Board & Investor Reporting
Translating transformation progress into financial metrics: TRevPAR improvement, CLV growth, cost savings, green premium indicators, and NOI impact. Communicating in the language of commercial performance.
What Changes
Owners and operators gain senior transformation capacity without a premature full-time hire. The work moves from advice to delivery: internal capability grows, investor reporting improves, and sustainability commitments become operating discipline.
Typical model: 2–5 days per month of embedded time, supplemented by ad hoc availability for board briefings and stakeholder meetings. Monthly retainer with a minimum 4-month commitment, with performance-aligned options on longer engagements. Current mandates include fractional procurement leadership for a multi-brand hospitality group in Asia.
